Sunday meant...we left our 1st home on the island, The Bali Hai Resort and moved on to our quaint B&B.
We couldn't pass up a picture of me with the "dolphins"...as that is the animal that Rich thinks I am most like.
Smart...nice...likes to swim!
haha! Go Tri-Delta!
After we headed out, we decided to head to Poipu (Southside) and check out some of the sights!
Here is Rich at lunch in Poipu...it was this awesome little marketplace where I ate my 4th fish tacos of the trip...maybe 5th.
Next up, a drive through the Tree Tunnel and a trip to Spouting Horn...
Here is Rich in a "non-action" shot!
The "Spouting" at Spouting Horn...
...and a Married Couples shot!
We took one for a couple, and they took ours.
How sweet?!?!
On our way out of Poipu, we found this old Sugar Cannery....pretty neat!
Rich at the Menehune Pond...it's a old tail about "little" people who build this pond to trap fish for the king. Pretty cool story and neat pond...who knows where the truth lies...but the folklore in Kauai is amazing!
Me taking in the sights at the Menehune Pond...off to the left is the river we kayaked in earlier in the week.
After a long day...we ended up at Pizzeta in Kapaa' for some pizza, stuffed mushrooms and vino. What a great day!
It's so much fun to relive the trip...and we still have 4 more days to go!
