ISTJ vs. ISFJ

Who would have thought...the only difference between Rich and I was a T or a F....i.e. a Thinker or a Feeler.
You decide who you think is who?!?!
We had our 2nd session of Pre-marriage counseling last night and it went really well. We had to come prepared with our 5 best attributes and 5 areas for improvement for both ourselves and each other, then 5 things we plan to give to our marriage and 5 things we expect out of marriage. We finished with 5 goals. It was a pretty amazing experience and I think that I'm even more positive after this experience that Rich and I will last the test of time.

With our "personality" tests that we did...I only thought that 1 little thing was different between us...but how that relates to everything else pretty much defined both of us. We giggled at how accurate the descriptions of us were and it was very insightful!
A great learning and growing experience for us!

A little this...and a little that!

Whoever said that Sunday was the day of rest...was not planning a wedding
and cleaning up their home for summer guests!

Rich and I headed up to my parents at 8am on Sunday to finalize the wedding invitations.

3 weeks until mailing date!

Here is Rich working hard on putting the postage on the RSVP card!

Mom putting the final cuts on the quotes for the invitations....
and Rich and I working the assembly line
putting the invitations together!

Final Steps!
Mom and I putting the invitations in the
envelopes and storing them away!

Part 2 of Sunday!
Rich working on the bar...
sanding, nailing, filling and more!

Part 3 of Sunday included lunch with Rich's mom, her friend Pat
and granddaughter and boyfriend
...then back home to finish up some yard work!

Part 4 of Sunday was yard work!
The hydrangeas are planted and the rhododendrons are in bloom.
So pretty! It's starting to fill in.
Rich's mom brought us beautiful tulips
from the Tulip Festival in La Conner
...they match perfect!

Final step of the day
....taking down our DEAD little Japanese Maple. The tree was dead when we moved in, time for it to go.

One last look...
Here comes the chainsaw...
Bye, Bye, Bye Mr. Maple!
And, then there was none!
Wow!
I'm exhausted.
What a weekend!

Turkeys 1, Rich 0...

After scouting the area two weeks ago...Rich and Andy headed out Friday afternoon to their Secret Turkey Location...even though they came home without birds...the place is BEAUTIFUL! (That is a bald eagle in the top of that pine)

I'm a little jealous that I didn't get to go myself!
Camp all set up on Saturday...(they got there too late on Friday and slept in chairs)!

The TURKEY woods...they called, the Turkeys called back...they saw, the Turkeys saw them...but never within range to put one on our Thanksgiving Table!
The decoy set up....here Turkey, Turkey!
Rich looking down the barrel of his shotgun.
Andy hiding in his Camo...
Another gun shot...
And the ladybug...that became Rich's friend because they were out there since before dawn.
On Sunday night he swore off hunting Turkeys...and was going back to fishing...by Monday mid-day...the Turkey hunt was back on!

WE KNOW YOU WILL GET YOUR TURKEY!!!
