Road Trip to Carlton, WA

We had a very BUSY weekend. It started early Friday morning with a trip to the U-Haul and packing up both of our apartments. Since U-Haul was closed at our first attempt to pick up the truck, we headed to Safeway to get some snacks. It was the grand opening of the new Bellevue location and we won an iPod Shuffle. How great!! Thanks for all the help from Alex, Shawn, Joey, Mike and Joni (we couldn't have done it without you)!!! We are officially living with Stacie's parents until we close on our house on the 9th. We are getting so excited to have our new space ...

On Saturday morning, we headed out to Carlton, WA for our friend CJ's wedding with another friend Rhett. BP shout out time! We arrived in Carlton a few hours before the ceremony, so we set up shop and headed to a local wateringhole in TWISP. The 151 soaked cherries were delicious!
I won big at Pull Tabs! In total $4! I should buy some lotto tickets...my luck is Awesome!
Rich getting a little frisky on the pool table...he kicked Rhett and my butts at Cut Throat. My first time playing the game and I think that the boys ganged up on me.

Finally, it was time to change in the bar bathroom and head to the wedding. We arrived in style and enjoyed the 96 degree day. Thank god for the refreshments (wine and beer)...otherwise, we might not have made it.

A fabulous self-portrait at the wedding.

Congratulations to CJ and Stacey. We are so excited for both of you and excited for you to start you life together. Can't wait to join you in wedded bliss!

Monkey's Day at the Ballet

Avea's first ballet recital was on Saturday...and boy, did our little monkey perform. She was a little scared of the creepy man on stage, but she smiled and blew kisses to all of us. Rich and I were so lucky to be part of this special day for Avea. My mom reminded everyone how I sat and waived at my first recital too!

All our love to our little ballerina!

Packwood - June 2008

Last weekend, Rich and I headed up with our friend Alex (the master photographer) to his family's paradise retreat in Packwood, WA.

From the moment we arrived in Packwood, we indulged ourselves in food and drink...and even fit in some hiking and boulder tossing. We also made the local rounds and hit up all 3 watering holes in the town. The boys even introduced me to "Evil Dead 2"...enough said!

Anytime spent with Alex is always fun.

This picture is from our hike to Silver Falls in the Mt. Rainier National Forest taken by Mr. Wishkoski himself.
