Fishing Frenzy!

Thanks to Aunt Roxy...Wii have a new Wii game...Fishing Frenzy! The picture below depicts some of Rich's favorite things...The Browns, The Cougs and Fishing...if there was Bourbon and me in this picture...life would be complete.

We just started playing this game and it proves to be a little more difficult than expected...but I'm sure with some long hours and hard work, Wii will get better.

The San Francisco Treat...

Ok, so Monday, September 22nd...Rich celebrated his 30th birthday and no...he didn't get Rice-a-roni...but we did go to San Francisco. The weekend was filled with all things "touristy".

We ate, we drank, we visited with family, we walked, we boated, we flew, we taxied...we did it all. Our weekend started with little fib from me...that we were going on a road trip. Here's some pictures from our journey.

The night before we left...Rich packing away.

6:30 AM on Saturday...

Rich was clueless for about the first 30 minutes of the trip...that was until we ended up at my aunt and grandma's house...i.e. our shuttle to the airport. Thanks for the taxi service to the airport Aunt Roxy!

Here's Rich at 7:30 am...ready for the weekend.
The cat was out of the bag and we were
off to San Francisco.

Waiting to board...
Rich looks a little "bored"!

We arrived and headed to the Wharf.

The sign was on the pier...
too funny!

A cool boat.

The Sourdough factory...

Us with the Golden Gate Bridge...
on our boat cruise of the Bay!

A little windblown...but inside now.
Saturday night...after our Bay Cruise...we headed back to the hotel and cleaned up and went to dinner at Terzo. If you are ever in the area, this is a MUST do...it was amazing.

Sunday morning came...and I had another little surprise up my sleeve. I told Rich that we were waiting for a tour bus and that they were going to call...we waited for a bit...and Knock, knock, knock. His sister Becky and nephew Ty had come to surprise him...

so we headed back down to Fisherman's Wharf for the day with Becky and Ty.

On the walk down..Rich, Becky and Ty.

Posing with Alcatrez...

Checking out some museum information on a Submarine.

Getting ready to board the Submarine.

Ahoy matey...we're on board.

Me at the controls.

Becky and Rich working some gears in the engine room...

Cool Trolley

After the Sub tour, we headed to Ghirardelli Square
for Waffle cones and Chocolate!!!
Becky and Ty headed home on Sunday evening and Rich and I headed out for some cocktails...and by some, I mean A LOT. We walked over to dinner at UMAMI (best Miso soup ever) and then over to Silver Clouds and had a night cap. We tried to hit Taco Bell on the way home...but missed it by one block, and had to settle for vending machine snack.

Monday morning we got up early...went to breakfast and decided to walk Lombard Street....

Here's the "little" hill that we hiked!

But what a pay-off.
The "crookedest" street in the world.
Lombard Street...
Been there, done that!
Off to Rich's Birthday Surprise...a Sea Plane tour over the bay.

Ready for Take-off.

Rich was ready for Take-off too!

Fire up the plane!

Take off...
View of the Wharf.

The Golden Gate Bridge.

The Sea Lions at Pier 39...
they STINK!

The Ferry Terminal and Downtown San Fran.

The new Bay Bridge...construction began in 1989 after
the earthquake.

The Pilot's controls!

Happy 30th Babe!

Lunch in Sausalito...

We finished out trip with Lunch in Sausalito...and a ferry ride back to San Francisco. The trip was a blast!

Here's to 30 more fabulous years babe! I love you with all my heart!

Hey Baby! Hey Baby! Hey Baby!

The weekend came and went and it feels like we NEVER stopped moving. It was a long, but fun weekend at the the Meyer/Boness (Soon-to-be...just Meyer) household.

Friday night started with a little Cougar football and prep work for the Husky tailgate....since our teams seem to be so awful this year...we've resorted to just drinking.

Sunday was packed with BABY fun...from our friends Eric and Amy bringing their new baby son over...Welcome William Michael...to an afternoon baby shower for our friend Suzanne...who will be welcoming Kain Alexander into her and Clay's life in November.

All this baby excitement got us thinking...no, not that...but how excited we are and lucky for the recent changes in our life. The clock on the wedding countdown is a ticking...remember, Saturday, July 18th...you've been warned. Be there...or be square! And hey, nobody likes a square!

Here I am holding William Michael

Here's Amy holding Big Willie!
Another great weekend chalked up...a win for us...a loss for the teams we love.
