Turkey-athon Weekend!

This year...Rich and I did a "Turkey-athon" Weekend...which included:
4 days of driving
3 days of eating
2 days of drinking
and not enough time to recover!

We went to the West...We went to the East...heck, we even went to Oregon! It was a great weekend...get ready for a "little" recap of the festivities.

Thursday started with Turkey day with the Boness Family!

Rich and I with Avea and Rene.
We ate a ton with my family, hung out with Grandma and Aunt Roxy, toasted with Jenn and Danny and relaxed with Mom, Dad and Max!

Friday Morning we headed out early to get to Kennewick to go get Christmas trees with the Meyer Family.

Rich and his mom...ready to start the search.

Rich, Shawn and Chris searching high and low for the perfect tree

We headed back to Rich's parents house...and hung out for dinner and a bit and then "Back to the Hotel"...to start part 2 of Saturday...this is the drinking portion of the evening...Ouch!

Pheew....Friday is over. Saturday started off a little slow...but once we got going we were great. Rich, Shawn and I headed out Steelhead fishing...but had no luck. It was beautiful outside though, so we had a great time.

After fishing for the day...we headed out of Kennewick and over to Yakima for Bryan's 30th Surprise party...which turned out to be an Engagement Party too.
Congrats Bryan and Tina!!!

The Boys...

Rich and I at the party...still struggling from Friday night

Roger and Rich with their wings...don't ask!

Too cute!!!
After a great weekend...we had a few more stops on our way home. We stopped a little outside of Yakima to go for a hike and see if we could find any Chuckers or Ducks for Rich to shoot at.

It's not over until, it's over!!!

We headed out around 12 on Friday to start our Apple Cup weekend. We strolled through the Yakima Valley and actually saw more Big Horns and Deers than we ever do. I was even able to spot a few before Rich. This is huge...if you know how good he is at that.
We got into Kennewick and went dress shopping with Rich's mom and actually think that we have decided on a dress and color for the girls. Yeah! Now it's just the boys, junior bridesmaids, flower girl and ring bearer....and I thought we made progress.

We went to dinner at "Taco Juan's" with Rich's mom and brother Shawn.

Delicious!
Then headed back to his parents house and visited with everyone...Denise, Dick, Chris, Shawn, Buddy, Four-Low, Tigger and Sammy....good times. We headed out and met up with some of his friends for a night cap and headed back to the hotel early...our 5:30 am wake up call was going to come early.

7:00am...Dan, Rich and Yoni
After breakfast...ready to hit the road.

Road Trip!
Yes, it's early.

Arrived and ready to tailgate...danger, here we come!

Rich and I ready for the game!

Jessa and Dan get ready to tailgate.

All the troops in line...tailgating had begun.

We tailgated for a bit and then headed into the game.

Jessa and I in line for our 1st of many bathroom trips.

Yoni and Rich before kick-off.

Knuckle Up...Husky vs. Coug.
Game Time!

Let the game begin!

Huskies off to a good start...and they kept on rolling forward...
Ut oh, trouble is in the air.

Don't call it a comeback...it's OT!

Cougs took a quick lead.

Dawgs Answered.

I fear there is trouble ahead...

The happy troops!

Cougs win - 16 to 13.

Amazing game. The Cougars kept the Huskies dreams of a perfect season alive!
It's over...let's party!
We ended up going out on Saturday...then woke up on Sunday...hahah! No cameras, no proof! However, we did see Bob Robertson...the voice of the Cougars.

I'll swallow my pride and say...the Cougs out played the Dawgs and deserved the win. On to Basketball!

Sunday morning did not start out as pretty as Saturday...but with the game now behind us and football season that much closer to being over...we were excited to take a leisurely trip back home.

Just had breakfast and a quick power nap before we hit the road.
Not pretty!

Highway 26...where we pulled off to test out Rich's new fire arm.

Putting the target in place...a Busch Light box.

Running back..ready to test it out.

Get Ready, Aim...

Fire!

The results...3 for 5.
Not bad being the first time he tested it out.
Actually it might have been 4...but we couldn't prove it!
All in all...the weekend was a blast. The game was packed...and we got to fit in a lot of things that we normally have to rush through. I'm out!
