Did somebody say wood?

Yes, and it was Rich. He was excited that he found someone to deliver a "cord" of wood...and so it was done. I didn't know what a cord of wood was, but found out...it's a "vanful" and about 1 hour of hard labor while stacking.

Here is the wood prior to delivery.

Wa-Laah! It's here and stacked.

After we got our wood this morning...we headed off to our fave Sunday hang-out "The Pump House" to have breakfast and watch the Browns play. Just like our beloved Huskies and Cougars, the Browns had a rough weekend too...but at least they were in their game. Unlike the Cougs and Dawgs who put a combined ZERO POINTS on the board. Yikes! After that...it was the Seahawks and they fell too! Bad FOOTBALL season! Bad! Thankfully B-ball starts this week!
Once home...we tested out our new WOOD!

We also cooked a feast today...
Slow cooked Pork and Dumplings.

Rich was up at 730am to get the Pork started...
and boy was it Delicious!

Me mashing up the potatoes for dumplings...

Chopping them up...

Still chopping the Dumpling snakes....
Thanks to Aunt Tammy's Dumbling recipe...they were great!
Dinner turned out a winner and we had my parents over to share in the fun. All in all, it was a GREAT weekend.

By the way, we got ZERO trick-or-treaters...anybody who needs a candy fix, we will be accepting "treaters" through November...or while supplies last!

Off to a new week!
