Like all good, I mean great things, our trip to Cali had to end to....but not until we got to have a few more days of fun, a lot more laughs and a couple of tears that our time was ending so soon!
Saturday morning we got up and went BIRTHDAY shopping for Sammi's 12th birthday...and visited Old Clovis for a bit too! Very fun little town with cute shops and more! I feel in love with this town more than once during our journey...hey Rich, when are we moving down there?!?!
This is one of my favorites...the Hardy Family and Richie in downtown Clovis.
This picture was so appropriate because if Jason wasn't with us...it was because he was at work...our little tribute to Jason (except he was with us this day)....ok, I just like to pose Rich in front of things and ask him to smile...
Oops, I did it again!
Saturday after a FULL day of shopping at the mall, we came home and grilled some tri-tip, had some awesome corn and avocado salad (made by myself of course), drank some nectarine daiquiris and a little "Hardys" wine.
Then it was time to celebrate with MUD PIE!!!
Sammi got a little whip cream on her nose and Chukar licked it off...I captured the aftermath!
Rich decided he needed a little too!
Sammi decided that since it was only 95 degrees outside that Chukar needed a blanket...he walked around with it on all evening. HILARIOUS!
This picture is priceless in my book...I miss these kiddos so much already...and of course, so do Rich and Chukar!

Yes, those are Sammi's fabulous new flip up sunglasses that she wanted...hahah! So cute!
Time to say good-bye and have one last meal....Sammi's choice (and my favorite too)!
We said our tearful goodbyes and headed North....only to come across Bass Pro Shops about 2 hours into our drive...
It's like a kid in a candy shop...Rich that is!
Welcome to BPS...the only time we have been there was in Florida, so Rich was ecstatic.

Monday morning we got up early and headed home...but found a great little Greek spot in Portland on our way...

The journey was long, but never long enough! Thank you Becky, Jason, Ty, Gabie and Sammi for spending such an awesome week with us! We can't wait to plan the next trip...we love you all!
