Gingerbread houses, Snow and Fun!

Let the holidays begin...today (December 13th) was the FIRST time it felt like the holidays around here. We have a tree...but it is in the garage because Chukar wants to eat it....but today, we had our first snow, built Gingerbread houses and just enjoyed our loved ones!

Chukar's 1st snow...
Click on the picture and you can see the snow flakes!
(No accumulation...but snow)!!!

Avea, my Mom and Rene...reading 'twas the Night before Christmas...that my parents recorded for their Godchildren!
Let the decorating begin...
We tag-teamed!
My mom with Rene' and Me with Avea!
The little chef getting ready to build his train.
Avea and I working on her house...doesn't she look happy to be with me?!?
Working on the assembly...
..and decorating...
Rich came down to visit and then Avea gets some smiles!
Rene was very precise with his train...and so detailed.
Avea and I were more about completion than perfection...but the house turned out cute!
The roof was ready to fall in...hopefully, it made it home with them.
All smiles with Mom and the completed project.
Avea, Lori, Rene and my Mom...
Finished projects!
After the houses were built...we all went outside to PLAY!

The fresh air and the twins wore little Chukar out...
he napped for 2 hours after everyone went home.

The happy little family!
Merry Christmas!!!
After his nap...Chukar had Day 2 of school...and is learning A LOT!
What an amazing day!

XOXO for Rich's Grandpa who we just found
out is back in the hospital.
All our prayers go out to Grandpa Cerny!
