We finally thought that we could outsmart our little 9 week old puppy and put up our Christmas tree....before the actual day.
Rich developed a "protector" for the stand...that Chukar likes to use as his personal Doggie Day Spa!
Rich even took the lower branches off the tree so that he wouldn't pull the whole tree down (yes, our 8 pound puppy)!
We got the tree up and lights on....put only put a little garland on...because we know that our ornaments would be destroyed....we even used Santa as our "tree-topper" this year and Rudolf as our only decorations.
Not 5 minutes after the tree was up....Chukar had the garland and went to town.
SMART dog!
We have put the chairs up as protectors...we will see how long that will last.
Looks like this tree might be down by the 27th...one week inside, 3 weeks in the garage! Poor Charlie Brown Christmas Tree!
Off to celebrate my Dad's Birthday...more fun to come later!
