Pullman or Bust!

...and so it began on Friday Morning...about 9 am....coffee's in hand for Heather (and Adam's) 1st and quite possibly LAST Pullman adventure weekend with the Meyer's!It was quite a journey...with Adam seeing part of Washington he never has...and quite possibly falling in love with WSU, the campus, the Mexican Flag and the experience in it's entirety...we are still waiting for the final verdict from Heather...but I think she is with me...it's a place to visit, to drink, to dine, to kick some COUGAR butt...and to return from as quickly as you got there.

On Friday afternoon, we arrived with enough daylight hours for Rich to show the newbies around campus...by car and by foot...before the real fun of the evening began.

The tour has begun...
1st stop...the view above the library of the football field....pretty cool!
Next stop, Doopus Boomers for Washington Apple shots and martini's
....DELICIOUS
...even with our bartender nazi!

NO STANDING IN THAT BAR!
Adam needed a little refresher....inside joke, I guess!
Hello, Puppet!
Fourth stop (didn't document the stop at the Bookie)...RANCHO VIEJO...one of my favorites in Pullman...for the so-so Mexican food and great shots!

Rich petting his little Cougar friend.
Shot! Shots! Shots!

Do yourself a favor...and only watch this if you don't know what a Mexican Flag is
...because if you do...you might puke.

Are you curious...it's grenadine, mint liqueur, then CHEAP tequila...with a bowl of CHEAP tequila....all lit on Fire....just the thought of this could make any 4 of us puke at any time!

Next up, Sella's for dinner and the GAME...

Yes, that's Adam on the left in his Butch costume and Mexican flag hanging off his shoulders and Rich on the right...these boys were 2 peas in a pod for the weekend
....Go Cougs (at least that's what he said)!

The journey continued on Friday to...My Office, The SportsPage, Ricos...and we even had some late night Clam, I mean, Chicken strips!

FUN FRIDAY NIGHT, CHECK!

Saturday morning we were a little slow moving...but got to the Liquor store around 10am to find 85 of our closest friends already in line...next up TAILGATE!

This is how we do "COOLER" in Pullman...pretty fancy, but it kept things cool!
We hung out by our cooler and coat rack...tailgated and prepared for the game!
A little look into Cougar tailgating...different on that side of the state for sure...but still loads of fun!
Plus, they open up the school so you don't have to use port-o-potties....that's enough to win me over...

He's R and H on a trip back...
The celebration has begun...
and the rivalry continues between Rich and I....but the picture was deleted because Rich was not being very sportsmanlike in the picture!

Yes, we do what we must...there was hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps in there....YUMMY!!!
This is what I call a wind-chime...
Yep, Heather, the wind-chime and 2 cocktails...
It's officially GAME TIME!
...and the troops are ready for a great game (we didn't have any idea how great it would be)!
PRICELESS...love this girl!
The team ready for kick-off!
A little warm up time...
And the game is on....
Half-time in the restroom...
So not delicious!
Gag!!!
Back from our half-time show in the restroom....and ready for the 2nd half!
Do I see a W coming for Washington???
The vision of SWEET SUCCESS!
And ANOTHER...GO DAWGS!
Shout of to my mom for the warm jacket....not so slimming, but super warm!
Celebrate, Good times, Come on!
And that's the way the APPLE crumbles...
Post game....
Cool lights in Pullman...
...and AWESOME lights in Bothell...if you click on the picture...you can see a little puppy waiting for Mom and Dad to come home!
GREAT TRIP! Great FUN! Lots of Fried Potatoes...Blinkers...Puppets and MORE! Thanks H and A for heading to Pullman with us and the AWESOME tickets! Such a blast...now it's back to the couch to continue my recovery!
