A quiet turkey day...

...it seems like with each year that passes...new traditions form, but old ones still remain (kind of...modified, I guess).

As Rich and I continue on our journey as husband and wife (a whole 16 months in)...holidays are still a little bit of a mystery. As much as we would LOVE to spend every moment with both of our families, extended families and friends...there just isn't enough time to see everyone we love...so this year, we are sending our love to our local families in Washington (the ones we were not able to spend any time with) and our families that we were (or are going to get to see)! It was Boness West today and Meyer East tomorrow! Our families in California, Ohio, Iowa and more...our hearts are with all of you on this day of Thanksgiving. After just hanging up the phone with Rich's mom, we also take a moment to open our hearts to those that are no longer with us either....you are forever in our hearts.

This year, Thanksgiving week came with a bit of SNOW in these parts...basically shutting down the city since Monday...let's talk about some cabin fever!

A beautiful shot from our front door...Turkey day we headed over to my parents to feast on turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and pie...and a little vino too! Chukar even had his first taste of turkey (on purpose) and pie (of course, a huge mistake and disaster...sorry Dad)!

The FEAST...and my parents...Cheers!
Rich diving into some turkey skin...shout out to Chris...this ones' for you!
Didn't even make a dent in the bird...that's what happens when the snow keeps the other 4 guests not coming and a sick grandma (get well)!!!
Richie and I...yes, all dressed up in our best for the holiday!
We showered...but that is about all you get from us....ahah!
The dogs and dad enjoying some football...
Chillin' with Rich!
Buster and Maggie showing us how they can sit and shake now...such good puppies...
...and then it was dinner time for the puppies! EAT UP!
Showing us that he gives loves just like Chukar...
It was such a great and relaxing Turkey day...off to relax some more...then pack up the car! Watch out Meyer Family East...we are heading out early! Get ready for lots of hugs and fun with Rich, Chukar and I arrive!!!
