Dog Day Sunday!

Oh what a day...what started off as a slow start and a cloudy Sunday...turned out to be a productive and fun day!!!

My mom came over for a bit to have lunch and visit (i.e. play with Chukar)...and visit Rich and I too! My dad stayed home with Max to work a little...and of course, my mom was only coming over for a little bit...5 hours later, we had a BLAST! Thanks Mom!!!

We went to the Pet Store, the Paint Store, the Coffee Shop and then helped Amanda move a little...and Chukar got to meet Luca!

Here is Luca showing Chukar how to roll around in the dirty grass and get all the nasty smells on you...thanks Luca! (and Thanks Amanda for all the WINE)...we will help you out anytime!

Next stop, St. Edwards Park...for a little walk and fishing excursion....Chukar lead the way, as Rich, my Mom and I headed down the hill...little did we know we were on the "difficult" trail. It was .6 miles of straight down...and of course, what goes down...must go back up!

Of course, it was worth it because we got to play in Lake Washington and meet about 15 new dogs...it was a blast!

On the way back, we found the "moderate" trail back up...so it was much more manageable...it was MUDDY though and Chukar was to go directly to the bath...do not pass go...do not roll on the couch!

...and as soon as the clean sheets were back on the bed...he was done!
Night Chuk...it's only 6pm...will he make it all night?
