The BIG one...
Rich is down fishing....and caught the BIG one! A Steelhead from the Klickitat (I think)....is it bad that I don't exactly know where my husband is right now....but that he will be home late tonight? Love ya babe!

Fun summer weekends...
The weekend came...the weekend went.
We worked, we played, we joined a Brittany club, we celebrated at Kelby and Ryan's receptions, we partied at baby showers, we worked some more...then we enjoyed a great dinner on Sunday night with my parents and Alex's parents...
Menu was Nectarine daiquiris, kabobs, avocado and corn salad, macaroni salad and apricot-raspberry dessert!

Today, my mom headed over to let Chukar play for a bit...and after 2 hours of fun...the dogs got wet-down.
HAHAH! Doesn't he look happy!
Rich is off fishing for a few days...but it didn't stop him from starting my birthday celebration with some surprises this morning...today, a Gene Juarez gift card for a FACIAL. Such a surprise...such a great hubby!

Fun night with the Hindman's
Last night we had a WAY overdue night with the Hindmans! We were spoiled to dinner....steaks, salads, brownies and WINE! Yes, wine! Great company and the dogs even kept one another entertained!

1st Anniversary Weekend Extravaganza!
It's been awhile since we've obsessed over how happy we are...or how cute our dog is...so if you don't want to hear about either of those, you should probably stop reading NOW!
This weekend, Rich and I celebrated our 1st Anniversary...can you believe it has already been ONE WHOLE YEAR?!?! Neither can we....this year, definitely had it's ups and downs...but it also had a lot of 1sts!
This weekend, Rich and I celebrated our 1st Anniversary...can you believe it has already been ONE WHOLE YEAR?!?! Neither can we....this year, definitely had it's ups and downs...but it also had a lot of 1sts!
- Starting with each of our 1st Marriage (and most likely last....haha)!
- Our first time to Kauai
- Our first trip to El Gaucho and the Inn
- Our first new washer and dryer
- Our first PUPPY
- Our first CHRISTMAS as Husband and Wife
- Our first annual Lake Wenatchee New Year's Trip
- Our first new dishwasher
- Our first business
We are sure that our 2nd year of marriage will bring a lot more 1sts and we are excited to tackle them together....
Friday night, Rich picked me up from work and we headed to Wenatchee for the evening to spend a little QT together and celebrate our anniversary.
We had a delicious dinner at SmokeHouse (so yummy)!
Amazing company, amazing service, amazing food...just AMAZING!
Here we are...ready to enjoy dinner!
Rich had the Tenderloin...
...while I had the Halibut!
Dinner was followed by a little Creme Brulee and a sparkling wine I had picked up during wine tasting on my Bachelorette Party...the perfect bottle to celebrate with!

Our night didn't end there...but the pictures did! Lots more celebrating in Wenatchee!
Saturday morning we got up and headed to a little cafe to enjoy some coffee and a quick snack before our day of wine tasting...
Chukar...always the character...decided to take a seat on the Fire Hydrant!
Priceless!
We headed out and hit up about 5 wineries on our way to Fish Lake...the first stop of many!

This is where we are going to renew our vows....in 50 years!
A little fun idea we have decided to do...is to track each year of marriage by taking a picture next to the "MILE" that we are on...then after 10, 25, 50 years...it will be an AWESOME collage of the years we have spent and the journey we have been on!

After wine tasting, we stopped in Leavenworth for a late lunch...Chukar was even allowed to dine with us! Yeah, for pet-friendly places!
We made it to Fish Lake (a spot we stopped at on New Year's when the lake was frozen) and met up with some friends to do some camping!

...then decided to play with it....

We dined on our CAKE from the wedding, and surprisingly, it held up!
We relaxed with some Prosecco...the same bottle we had the night that Rich proposed...
...and even watched Chukar steal the bow to our gift!
Our night ended with a viewing of our Wedding Video...a few tears from all the memories...and a toast to the next year! It's been an amazing ride!
I love you babe with all that I am (well, most, a little piece is for Chukar)!
