And they call it Puppy Love!

Today was the day...that we heard the song...and knew what PUPPY LOVE was all about!

Rich and I headed out to get our NEW puppy CHUKAR...and boy was it a trek!
We traveled on 2 Freeways...

1 Highway...and out into the sticks...
Until we arrived at our little precious PUPPY's home!
His first car ride...and visit with Rich!
All tuckered out and sleeping behind my neck...
We arrived at my parents at about 2 pm to introduce Chukar to Max (and in a few weeks to Buddy and Four-Low)!
...but our little man was crashed out!
He stretched...but could not be disturbed.
Then Max came over to visit...
The initial smell tests went good...and then they played for a bit.
My mom even got a few special puppy kisses from Chukar.
We made it home and he checked out his "day spa" arrangements...
and then got a treat for being such a good boy!
Then...he was tuckered out again.
He woke up and had a little dinner...and then we played outside (and even "pottied" all by himself #1 and #2).

He loves the backyard...but it was dark...so we came back in to play...and of course, he crashed out again.
After a little time...I switched him over to Rich...so that he loves us BOTH!
This is what they looked like when I came to Blog...Rich watching the Cougs...and Chukar getting his beauty sleep!
The first day is not nearly over...but our little man is tuckered out for today!
More action shots tomorrow and Christmas Tree decorating!
