Last night, Rich and I attended the "Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards" at the Bellevue Hyatt. We had no idea what to expect...but his company was up for an award, so we attended with the Owner's wife Sandy and his son Jake (one of the PM's).After about 6 other awards...corny drum roll music and all...it was time for the Decorative Concrete in a Public Area...and the winner is.....
BELARDE CO.

Pretty neat award...it's the shape of Washington State in Concrete.
Next up, the Grand Award...where all the finalist from each category is submitted. Of all the jobs, Belarde's was definitely the coolest, but there were some grand jobs up there.....without hestitation....and the winner is BELARDE CO.

This award is even cooler...it has their project on it. (Must have something to do with Alex's photography skills)!
