Wow! Rich and I have officially entered the "continuation stage" of planning the wedding. This week, we turned it into high gear and started planning away!
My mom went with Kelby today to get fitted for her bridesmaid dress! Now, they are all ordered and should arrive in May. Just in time for any last minute alterations!!!
Also, we have started planning for the table set-up. We have started designing a "napkin holder" that involves an orchid, net and satin ribbon and is AWESOME! We are also starting to narrow down the flower selections and figure out what we need.
Another item - the Rehearsal dinner - Rich and I have been busy planning where we are having it, getting quotes and trying to decide if we are going to have it somewhere or have it catered at our house. We are completing a new patio this spring, so it would be fun to have everyone over to our house...but we are just not sure if we are up to the task the night before the main festivities!
Also, Joni and Mike have figured out more about their Bridal Party and Family Lunch that they are going to host on Sunday after the wedding...and give Rich and I the opportunity to enjoy our family for one more day! It will be fun to share the opening of gifts with our families!
What else...yes, there is a ton of things. We signed up at Crate & Barrel to start our registering on February 7th. They have a great thing in February, where they allow a few couples to come in 2 hours before the store opens and they demo how all the items work and help you with your registry! How awesome is that!!!
More, yes, more! Rich and I spoke with Terry, the minister who is going to marry us, and we start pre-marital counseling on the 24th of February. I am very excited to have the minister that I grew up with meet Rich and marry us! It's a great way to start our married life together.
All in all...it seems like each week, more things come together. Oh, I almost forgot, we got the weekend set aside for my Bachelorette party and a room booked in Chelan! So fun!
This year is so exciting and we can't wait for July to come!
