All work and no play..

makes Rich and Stacie...pretty boring! The weekend began with high hopes for both Rich and I...not only was his mom coming to visit...not only were we having a family BBQ...not only were we going to get our yard cleaned up...not only were we going to get the door done...BUT it was the start of FOOTBALL SEASON!

Back track to Saturday morning...the Cougars were undefeated...the Huskies were undefeated and both Rich and I had high hopes for our schools. (KEY WORD ALERT - WERE). Decked out in our respective school colors, Rich in Crimson and Grey, Me in Purple and Gold...we headed down to Qwest Field to watch our first game of the day. The seats were great, the company was perfect and we were ready. Should I continue???? We all knows how that one ends. Rich's spirit was a little faded, but he took some positive things from the game. I was still thinking positive and knew that my team would pull through...fast forward a few hours... Mike and Joni come over in their Purple and Gold, Denise arrives, and we all settle in to watch some football. It started off a little rocky, but there was promise...promise soon faded away...and we are faced with our 2nd loss of the day. Needless-to-say...Football season has started off a little bumpy...here's to next week!

Sunday morning we got up and headed out to breakfast with Denise (Rich's Mom) and came back and did some yard work to prep for the BBQ...check out us in action.

All in all ...the yard looks A LOT better...but there is still some work to be done! Better get back to it!
