Fat Tuesday...

Fat Tuesday was not celebrated at our house at it was in years past....no beads, no lost shoes in Seattle, no Earthquakes the day...it was BETTER!

This year we celebrated Fat "Taco" Tuesday...with Tacos (or enchiladas), Taxes and Trims....yes, you heard me right!

Ryan "manned" the rice and bean station....
Kelby "manned" the Trim station...
and I "manned" the Tax station!

We enjoyed great friends and had such a fun night!
Chukar even got his toe-nails clipped
....yes, the Tuesday was full of "T's"!

Pizza Night!

Gosh...I'm so lucky to have such an amazing, loving and wonderful husband. He is the reason that I get up everyday...he is my best friend...my inspiration to be a better person...the future father of my children...the strongest man I know...

Somedays I just want to pinch myself because I don't know how I got so lucky!

A lesson learned...the hard way!

Rich has ALWAYS told me to "PUT MY SHOES AWAY"...but I'm a pack rat and like to leave them hidden all over the house....some under the desk, some in the garage, one at the back door, one at the front door, one in the office in a gym back, some in the back closet...the point being, I own 100's of shoes and I know where they all are...even if they aren't perfectly lined up in our closet.

Well....I learned a BIG lesson today the hard way. I was working from home...Chukar would not leave me along...I thought that he finally found a toy to distract him so I can work for a minute and then after few minutes I thought better of it....and this is what I found!

Tuesdays with Grandma (B)

Tuesdays have become a special day for my Mom and Chukar...she typically has every other Tuesday off and comes and plays with her Grand-dog. Of course, it's nice for Rich and I too because we come home to a worn out puppy and a clean house (I tell her she doesn't have to pick up, but she insists)!!!

The best part is I know my boy is being taken care of while I'm at work...and that he is loved (and of course, that my mom gets her happy endorphines)! Another fun part is the pictures she sends me and the funny captions...it just makes my day!
